Rampart Village is a Los Angeles neighborhood located to the south of downtown Los Angeles. With a median home sale price of $358,000, Rampart Village is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Los Angeles. The community first developed in the late 19th century through the early 20th century, and today the neighborhood contains nearly 3,000 residences. Some of the homes in the community include Craftsman bungalows and California bungalows, as well as Tudor, Spanish Colonial, and Spanish Mission Revival-style homes.
It is a 40-acre mixed-use development in Los Angeles that features a 24-acre park, 160,000 square feet of retail, and 442 residential units. For reference, the Village is a mile or so west of the Cahuenga Pass, which is where the 101 and 405 converge. Sunset and Vine, another Eastside-Hollywood boundary, is about a mile to the north. Rampart Village is located on the border of West Hollywood and the Mid-Wilshire district.
