Pacific Palisades is a beachside community in the Santa Monica Mountains region north of the city of Los Angeles. The area features hundreds of homes, condominiums, restaurants, and other amenities. It is located on the south side of Sunset Blvd across from Palisades Charter High School and within walking distance of the Pacific Palisades Village. The Palisades Recreation Center is a favorite place for the locals. It offers a variety of activities including gymnastics, soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, swimming, and weight training. The Recreation Center offers a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels including: yoga, Zumba, Pilates, and junior football.

The complex is located on the site of an early 20th-century amusement park. The park is near the entrance to Topanga Canyon State Park.
At the western end of the Santa Monica Mountains, on the Pacific Coast Highway and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is the almost magical Palisades Village, a shopping center that evokes the romanticism of a fishing village. Palisades Village was designed by the internationally renowned architectural firm of Anshen & Allen. The original center was built in 1952 and has been expanded several times. This is the place to be if you like to shop and stroll, relax and enjoy the sea air, or just watch the world go by.

Temescal Gateway Park is a small, centrally located green space in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. It is in size, and includes of trails and open space. The park is located at the end of Temescal Canyon Road, a dead end street with limited parking, so it is recommended that visitors ride their bicycles. Parking lots are located at the end of Temescal Drive, and off of Sunset Boulevard. The park is near Getty Villa, Temescal Canyon and Temescal Canyon Park.
The park includes Temescal Creek and the Temescal wash. It is the home to several species of California native plants and animals, including the California gnatcatcher, the California scrub jay and the Coast horned lizard.
Sited atop a ridge at the end of a winding, gated drive, the Lasky-DeBruce House is a grand Mediterranean-style villa that has been the subject of continual rumors over the years. The main rumors are that the house was built by Howard Hughes, that it was owned by Clark Gable, that it was the setting of a murder, and that it was built by a man named Louis Lasky as a wedding present for his bride, actress DeBruce Lee. All of these rumors are false. But after you hear them, you might think: “That sounds like something Clark Gable or Howard Hughes would do.” Well, that’s exactly what Mark Hall-Patton, the man who discovered. This is a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It was built in 1934 in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. It is one of Wright’s Usonian homes, designed with a pre-cast concrete block to minimize costs.
